Privacy note
We're YepRing. This note explains what we collect on this website, why, and what you can do about it. It follows the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- Your email address (needed to join the waitlist).
- Your business name and type of business, if you choose to give them.
- Basic technical info sent by your browser, such as your IP address and browser type, plus the date and time you signed up.
Why we collect it
- To email you when YepRing launches.
- To understand what kinds of businesses are interested, so we build the right thing.
- To protect the form from spam and abuse. We use Cloudflare Turnstile for this security check.
Emails from us
We'll only email you because you asked to join the waitlist. Every email will have a way to unsubscribe, and you can also just reply or email hello@yepring.com to be removed.
Where it's stored and who sees it
Your details are stored securely with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which may store data outside New Zealand. Only we can see them. We don't sell or rent your details to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until YepRing launches and while you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, we will.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@yepring.com. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
